Around Halloween I decided that each of my girls needed a bit more holiday decor in their rooms, so I came up with the idea of making banners to hang on their windows. This is Caroline's Happy Hearts Banner. I found the actual banner at Target in their "value bins" section. It's made of felt and burlap and for a mere $3, I thought it had good bones to embellish. I took some ribbon and tulle from my stash and tied in between each section. Curt brought home some darling embellishments from work, that American Crafts sells at Target...next time you are at Target be sure to check the craft and scrapbooking aisles at your local store to see all of the American Crafts supplies are more used to create this cute banner! The 3D hearts and buttons are a few of my favorites. Also, I just turned the little 3 x 3 cards around and used the back of them to slip into each heart opening.
